We are Brookson, established in 1995 we started as a small Warrington based accountancy firm and are now a national, multi-faceted business with a wide range of services dedicated to the contingent workforce, services for both workers and the hirers of those workers. We are revolutionising flexible working and we are currently seeking a skilled solution sales professional to play a crucial part in the expansion of our service offering. An exciting time to be part of a company doing things which haven’t been done within our sector in the UK, until now!


The role

We are currently recruiting for a new role within the Brookson Group, the role of Business Development Manager (national).


Our sales team have developed fantastic relationships with our existing customers, Brookson is a name well recognised within our sector. We are now looking to revolutionalise our service offerings to our customers, this will be a new way of thinking and selling within our sector and as such this role requires a sales person who is not only competent with the full sales cycle but is equally confident and capable in being a consultant and educator to your client base, selling to international clients at Director. The services we offer will can add significant value to our customers, facilitating their own growth, success, compliance and more. This is the ideal role for those who can sell to customers as a trusted partner, truly understanding their needs and objectives to advise on the best suite of services.


You will be: market mapping using data to shape your business development strategy, contacting senior decision makers of recruitment agencies with a UK and international presence within the contract recruitment field. Compiling and conducting presentations both on a one to one and group basis. Selling to FDs, MDs and C Level contacts. Attending networking events, running lunch and learns, webinars and more as an ambassador of the business and a best in class subject matter expert within your field. Keeping up to date with industry regulatory changes, policy and compliance. Securing relationships with clients aligned to our service offering and nurturing relationships, passing onto sales colleagues who will maintain ongoing relationships after the first 12 months. Analysing sales performance and identifying opportunities to cross sell.


The person


You will be a strategic sales professional with experience of selling complex services previously, where education and consultation is an integral part of the pre-sales process.

A new business professional you prefer business development to account management and will enjoy working in a team where you can transition trading accounts into the key accounts team for ongoing management

You will have sold to medium to large/enterprise clients with a UK and international presence, confident selling and presenting to Director and C suite level.

You will be someone who enjoys being a subject matter expert and ambassador, a credible and trusted sales professional focused on value add / premium services.

As this is a national sales role applicants are required to have a full driving license and car (we offer a car allowance as part of the package). If you do have points on your license please disclose this as part of the interview process.
