Brookson have transformed from a small Warrington based accountancy firm back in 1995 to a multi faceted and ever expanding business today employing in excess of 350 people over 3 locations across the UK. We support our clients with accountancy services, payroll, legal, financial services, insurance and much more. We are now seeking a consultative sales executive to join our sales team.


The role

We are seeking a sales person to join our desk based sales team, within Brookson this role is a called a Key Account Executive.

As a Key Account Executive you will be working as part of a sales team alongside other Key Account Executives and a Key Account Manager. Your role is to contact warm leads, these leads will be for recruitment agencies where you will speak with recruitment consultants who are placing contractors into new roles. The contractors will have a need for a service such as ours and its by building relationships with these recruitment consultants that you will receive referrals from them. Once the referral comes in this then goes to another Key Account Executive who specialises in consulting with the contractor, as such this role is a purely business to business relationship building sales role specialising in the recruitment agency channel.

Contracting is a growth market and there is significant demand for companies in our sector due to the complexities of accountancy, tax and compliance. That’s where we come in, as experts in this field.

This is an ideal role for those who enjoy selling through relationship building, working as a wider sales team to convert referrals.

The environment is professional, and targets are based on quality. A close-knit sales team (not a call centre). Team Managers are hands on and supportive and we offer career pathways within the group.

Hybrid working

Our sales team are based out of our Head Office in Warrington, we offer the option to work in the office each day if that’s your preference, or we have the option for hybrid working which would mean 2 days in the office with the rest remote working.

The person

We are seeking an autonomous and results driven sales professional with excellent customer engagement and conversion skills. You will be someone who can take a warm lead, or cold contact, and turn this around into an ongoing, trusted partnership.
