Outsource Payroll Team Manager
Are you an experienced payroll manager with experience within end to end payroll environments? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are currently recruiting a Payroll Team Manager to manage our dedicated outsource payroll team. The ideal role for those looking to have an impact and shape a division within a growing organisation going through an exciting period of change.
The Outsource Payroll Team Manager will be leading a team of Payroll Administrators, dedicated to the end to end payroll of clients who outsource their payroll to us. A managerial role within a hands on environment, ideal for those who can lead by example.
The Payroll runs include both weekly and monthly, and there are variances in requirements from one client to another, this in turn provides a great opportunity to gain skills with a variety of customer types.
The team are responsible for preparing and inputting information into the FMP system. Processing payroll to completion with a monthly target on payslips. Calculating salary changes, including back pay and pro-rata’s when required. Calculating final payments for leavers including holiday entitlement. Processing SMP, SSP, SPP. Responding to and resolving pay queries efficiently. Scheduling bank payments in accordance to client needs and more!
As Team Manager you will be experienced in all of the above. A leader who can support and inspire those around you to deliver the best possible customer experience. You’ll enjoy continuous improvement and working collaboratively with other teams as part of the wider Brookson Group. There will also be opportunities to get involved with, and have an impact on, change and projects such as implementations.
Hybrid / Flexible working
The role is full time covering core business hours Monday to Friday (no shifts). We have a hybrid working policy at Brookson, please feel free to discuss this further with us as part of the interview process.
Essential: An experienced Payroll Team Manager with end to end payroll experience.
Advantageous but not essential: Payroll qualifications, not essential providing there is proven experience in the required areas. Experience of client implementation and process improvement would also be beneficial. Experience of NHS payroll and pensions would also be advantageous.
You’ll be someone who inspires those around you and is passionate about the customer experience. Experienced in leading a team, setting objectives and supporting with development plans.
