We are looking to speak with seasoned Sales professionals who have extensive business development experience. This is a great opportunity to join an established team within one of Brookson's most successful business development teams. The role will be a mixture of new business and account management so you must be happy to open doors and attend meetings with our clients, recruitment agencies. 

Ideally you will have some experience of the recruitment sector, whether that is as a Recruitment Consultant or in another capacity where you have sold to the recruitment industry. We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders as you will be working closely with an Account Manager who will help manage your diary when you are out on the road with clients. In addition to this you will be required to meet and present to Directors of recruitment businesses about Brookson's service offering and legislative changes that could affect their business model and put forward tailored solutions that can help them.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of clients (existent and dormant) and develop relationships to maximise revenue potential
• Identify prospects and confirm and extend accounts knowledge with a range of techniques including research and face to face meetings 
• Manage diary and arrange meetings to introduce Brookson's services to new clients
• Segment, qualify and prioritise portfolios, creating and maintaining a robust contact strategy  
• Attend industry networking events
• Attend hospitality events (trips abroad, quizzes, concerts etc) with clients to maintain good relationships and develop accounts

The ideal candidate will have

• Outbound calling experience
• A minimum of two years’ field sales experience
• Demonstrated experience researching, mapping and nurturing new business prospects 
• Full clean driving licence
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Understanding of the recruitment industry
